I believe he lost the domain name (having not noticed it was due for renewal) and last I heard was negotiating to see if he could get it back.
Yes, what Doug writes is correct. He wrote on the biblicalist mailing list that he lost the domain name and was trying to find ways to get it back. You can see the mail trail starting here. I hope it comes back soon!
